The coconut milk contains proteins, essential fats and minerals like potassium & iron, Regular use of coconut milk can reduce the breakage of hair. Coconut oil contains lots of nutritional properties which makes the hair stronger & longer right from the root. Regular scalp massage with coconut oil is defensive action against hair loss.
Coconut milk is one of the greatest sources for nourishment of every type of hairs. Coconut milk is an outstanding easy home remedy for keeping your hair healthy, soft, strong & long without using any chemical shampoo & oils. After age of 40, massage your hairs 2-3 times a week with coconut oil for healthy hair.
1. Coconut milk
Make some coconut milk by grinding the grated coconut (half coconut) and squeeze it to take out its juice/milk. Massage on the scalp & hair roots properly with this white coconut milk/juice before you go to bed, next morning rinse with lukewarm water, never use hot water to wash your hairs. You may also apply coconut milk in daytime, just massage your scalp, leave it for 1 hour, and then rinse with lukewarm water. This will help you to stop your hair loss.
2. Coconut oil with Indian gooseberry/Amla
Mix 1 tablespoon of pure coconut oil with 1 tablespoon of Indian gooseberry/amla oil, also add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice in it. Mix them well and make this mixture lukewarm, and gently massage on the scalp for 10 minutes. Leave it for overnight or for 2-3 hours, rinse with lukewarm water. Coconut oil & amla oil nourishes the hairs, and lemon juice has strong anti dandruff properties.
Coconut oil (lukewarm) helps in controlling our hail fall. You can also alternatively use almond oil, Jojoba oil, almond oil, canola, sesame, lavender oil and mustard oil. Jojoba oil is especially excellent as it restores & replaces the sebum in the scalp. Jojoba oil also helps to control dandruff.
Heat 300 ml of coconut oil in a pan and add 10 curry leaves, 45 grated amla/Indian gooseberries. Boil the oil until the amla/gooseberries turns black or dark brown. Filter oil, Squeeze oil from amla/gooseberries completely. Cool this oil & store in the glass container. Massage with this oil 2-3 times a week with fingertips.
3. Gray Hair
Mix 1 tablespoon of pure lukewarm coconut oil with ½ tablespoon of almond oil or amla/Indian gooseberry oil. Massage on the scalp with fingertips & hair roots for 10-15 minutes daily, do not massage very gently. This massage stimulates the hair follicles by increasing blood circulation & heals the damaged scalp.
4. Regular scalp Massage
Regular massage on the scalp & hair roots for 10-15 minutes daily with lukewarm oil stimulates the hair follicles & increases the blood circulation to the scalp. It cures dandruff and several fungal infections. It is very beneficial for reducing anxiety & stress which is very common & the underlying cause of hair fall. Recommended oils for 3 to 4 times-a-week massaging schedule includes coconut oil.
5. Coconut oil with Shoe Flower
Soak few leaves of Shoe Flower in Coconut oil for overnight, next morning boil it for 10 15 minutes, strain the oil and when it comes to a normal temperature, add 2-3 small pieces of Camphor in it. Store this oil in stainless steel container. Massage the scalps & hair roots with this oil to stop hair loss and to make your hair strong & long.
6. Make your own herbal oil at home
Boil 2-3 cup of coconut oil with 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds, 10-15 curry leaves, and 3 chopped Indian gooseberries/amla for 8-10 minutes on slow flame. Allow it to cool. Store in container & massage your scalp daily or once in 2-3 days with this oil. You can use olive oil instead of coconut oil.
7. Coconut oil with henna leaves
Boil 8-10 chopped henna leaves in 3-4 cups of mustard oil for 5-8 minutes. Cool it, filter this mixture & store in container. Add 10 drops of this oil in your regular coconut oil and massage your hair roots for 10-15 minutes 3 times a week.
8. Coconut oil with garlic
Boil 2 cup of pure coconut oil with 7-8 garlic cloves, 8-10 curry leaves, dried lemon peels & 2 chopped Indian gooseberries/amla for 8-10 minutes on slow flame. Allow it to cool. Store in container. Massage your scalp for 10-15 minutes & wash after 1-2 hours with lukewarm water or leave it for overnight, rinse in the morning.
9. Hibiscus & coconut oil
Mash few flowers of hibiscus and mix with coconut oil to make fine mixture. Apply this mixture to the scalp, leave on for 1-2 hours and wash with lukewarm water and a mild shampoo.
Massage your Scalp with pure coconut oil, add 2 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in the oil. Leave it for 1 hour & wash with lukewarm water. Do this 3-4 times a week to remove dandruff completely.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
Balance protein diet
As hair is made of protein, make sure that you consume balanced protein diet. Add coconut water, green leafy vegetables, seasonal fruits & cereals in your daily diet. Avoid fast food, junk food and cold drinks. Also avoid alcohol & smoking. Take proper sleep & avoid stress.
