1. Cinnamon

It reduces blood sugar levels, at the same time it enhances the body's natural production of insulin. The Cinnamon powder can be consumed in many ways: 

1.      Take half a teaspoon of Cinnamon powder or one gram cinnamon sticks each morning. Repeat this for 40 days. And its effect will last an additional 20 days. 
2.      Sprinkle cinnamon into your coffee. 

3.      Make tea by boiling two to three fresh cinnamon sticks in a 2 cup of water for 15 to 20 minutes. Take out the cinnamon and drink the tea hot or chilled. 

4.      Mix cinnamon powder into unsweetened applesauce. 
5.      Add cinnamon to porridge, smoothies and any other dishes to enjoy its remarkable benefits.



2. Chia seeds/ Sabjaa

Chia (Sabjaa) Seeds prevent high blood glucose levels. You can use chia seed in your juice or you can do breakfast porridge. 

1.      Soak two tablespoons each of chia and hemp seeds in boiling water for 10 minutes. Add your desired raw nuts, berries, coconut flakes, Coconut oil and Stevie. 


3. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar (organic) works wonders in reducing blood sugar, along with its other incredible benefits. Take one to two tablespoons in water before or with meals, three times a day to prevent trouble in blood Glucose levels. The nutritional components of Apple Cider vinegar help control the rise in blood sugar levels when you eat a meal. 

1.      Take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and add a pinch of rock salt in it. Mix it in a glass of lukewarm water. Drink this before every large meal.


4. Flax seed

1.      Daily intake of the lignans in flax seed can modestly improve blood sugar. Flax seed oil contains vital Fatty acid. Flax seed oil can help in repair the Cellular damage caused by high sugar consumption. 

2.      Combine 120ml (4 oz) of cottage cheese with 50ml (1.5 oz) of flax seed oil and 30ml (1 oz) of milk into a blender. Add honey or fresh fruits to add sweetness. Blend this mixture and drink daily each morning. Flax seed contains all sorts of healthy components, such as: 

Omega-3 essential fatty acid, each tablespoon of ground flax seed contains about 1.6 grams of omega-3s.

5. Fenugreek / methi seeds

Fenugreek helps control blood glucose. The glucose regulating, anti diabetic properties of fenugreek seeds are associated to a novel free amino acid & 4-hydroxyisoleucine. This composite stimulates insulin secretion, thus limiting the level to which blood glucose is elevated; by promoting insulin secretion and inhibiting the increase in blood glucose, it helps in stabilize blood sugar and reduces body fat production.
