How to Remove Sun Tan? 10 Tan Removal Home Remedies
1. Pineapple and Honey
The enzyme in pineapple removes dead
cells from tanned skin. Vitamin C in pineapples reduces the aging effects such
a fine lines and wrinkles and freckles.
Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 1-2
tablespoon of fresh pineapple pulp. Apply the paste on tanned skin, wait for 30
minutes and wash thoroughly with normal water.
Potato
Potato is known as outstanding natural
bleaching agent, which lightens our tanned skin, dark spots, acne pimples
marks, dark circle around neck and arms.
2. Apply potato juice directly
Grate 1 medium/big size potato, or blend
it in mixer grinder to squeeze juice from it. Apply this potato juice directly
on the face, around neck area, arms, feet and elbows. Leave it for 30 minutes
and wash off. Repeat this daily for few weeks to see visible difference in skin
complexion.
3. Potato juice, multani mitti
Add 3 tablespoon of fresh potato juice
or pulp in 1 tablespoon of multani mitti or lentil flour, also add few drops of
rose water if necessary to make smooth paste. Use this mixture as face mask for
30 minutes, and then rinse off with normal water. Do this 3-4 times a week.
4. Lemon with potato juice
Mix 1-2 tablespoon of fresh lemon or
tomato juice/pulp in 2 tablespoon of fresh potato juice or pulp, add some milk
or rose water or curd and make thick smooth paste. Apply this paste on affected
area for 20-30 minutes.
5. Rub potato slices
Tale two slices of peeled potato and
gently rub it’s moist/juice on the tanned skin for few minutes and leave it for
more 15-20 minutes, then rinse off. Rub on face in circular and upward direction,
this will reduce the darkness of the skin, dark spots, wrinkles, dark eye
circles and improves the blood circulation in facial skin.
Gram flour/ Besan
Gram flour is very beneficial in
lightening the skin complexion; it reduces darkness and dead skin cell
naturally. Apply 1 teaspoon of honey for 10 minutes as a moisturizer after
application of following face masks.
6. Turmeric with gram/lentil
flour
Add less than ½ teaspoon of turmeric in
2 tablespoon of gram flour/lentil flour, also add 2 tablespoon of rose water.
Gently rub this mixture on tanned skin for 5-10 minutes in upward and circular
direction. Then leave it for more 20 minutes and wash off with normal water.
This will improve the blood circulation and reduce the darkness of the skin due
to sun tan.
7. Gram flour with tomato juice
Mix 1-2 tablespoon of gram flour with 2
tablespoon of fresh tomato juice, mix well, and make fine smooth paste. Use
this paste as facial mask and apply over other tanned areas on the body. Wait
for 20-30 minutes; wash it off with normal water. Repeat this 3-4 times week.
8. Gram flour, lemon/orange
juice
Take 1-2 tablespoon of gram/lentil flour
and add 1-2 tablespoon of fresh lemon or orange juice in it, also add 6-7 drops
of glycerin in it. Mix all them properly to make thick smooth paste. Apply this
paste over affected areas for 20 minutes and rinse off.
9. Besan with multani mitti
Add 2 tablespoon of fresh tomato
juice/pulp in 1 tablespoon of gram/besan flour and 1 tablespoon of multani
mitti/ fuller earth, also add adequate rose water or milk to make smooth paste
of all these ingredients. Apply this paste on tanned skin for 20-30 minutes,
wash off with normal water.
10. Saffron with Fresh Cream
Saffron (Kesar) helps in skin
brightening, toning, and fighting acne. It helps in removing sun tan naturally.
Mix few strands of saffron in 1-2
tablespoons of milk cream and let it soak overnight. Next day, apply this
mixture on affected skin for 30 minutes and rinse it off with cool water. This
face mask also works as a deep moisturizer for your soft skin.
