Who doesn’t love sweet substance, honey? Apart
from numerous Health benefits, this natural sweetener has tons of Medicinal value. It is mentioned in Ayurveda that honey is best Yogavahi, or catalyst.
Catalyst has the ability to carry the
properties of medicine added it. But this vigorous substance can also turn
dangerous if it is mixed with the wrong ingredients.
However, experts recommend precautionary activities while combining honey with certain foods since not all combinations
are dangerous for consumption. Here is the list down of unsafe combinations
of honey which should be avoided no matter what the cost is.

1. Do
not mix Ghee and honey in equal quantities
Avoid blending
honey and ghee in equal quantities. Honey and ghee are not taken into
account as a perfect combination. This
could leave into unpleasant kickbacks in one’s health.
One such erroneous combinations are

not combine radish and honey

the formation of toxic compounds. Next time when you cook salad with honey
dressing, make sure you don’t add radish to it.

honey with non-vegetarian food
Now blending honey with non-vegetarian
foods has become an all in a day’s work,
notably glossing for roasts. Honey and meat products are incompatible as per Ayurvedic principles
and putting together these ingredients with combating
qualities can cause health problems.
4. Adding honey to boiling hot
water
Nowadays honey is regularly used as a sweetener in teas and
other flavoured beverages. According to Ayurveda, another strictly forbidden combination issuing honey with boiling hot water or other beverages.
While raw honey is considered to have nectar, cooked honey is dangerous.
Studies uncover that heating honey above 60 degrees Celsius causes a
significant rise in hydroxymethyl furfuraldehyde (HMF) which can cause toxicity
in human beings.
