This animal eats your Good luck, brings negativity, poverty | Unlucky things in the house | Vastu

If you’re someone who feels like luck just doesn’t knock on your door, or no matter how much effort you put in, things don’t seem to go your way—this might surprise you. Did you know that keeping certain things or animals in your home can actually block good luck, wealth, and peace from entering your life? Sounds strange, right? But according to Vastu Shastra and ancient spiritual practices, it's absolutely true.

You can watch the full video on YouTube where these points are explained in detail with examples and remedies.

The Link Between Animals and Energy

We often bring animals, statues, or symbols into our homes for decoration or out of love. But not many of us realize that each animal carries a specific kind of energy. In Vastu Shastra and even Feng Shui, animals are known to be energy conductors, some bringing positivity, while others unknowingly invite negativity.

There is one particular animal that is said to absorb all your good luck if kept in your house. This animal is considered a symbol of poverty, stagnation, and struggle. Keeping images, idols, or even stuffed toys resembling this animal may affect your fortune over time. Many people don’t even realize they have it in some form, especially in art pieces, wall hangings, or decorative statues.

The Animal That Drains Prosperity

According to Vastu experts and ancient beliefs, the owl is one such animal often misunderstood. While Goddess Lakshmi rides an owl, which is seen as her vehicle, keeping random owl figurines or decorative items related to owls—especially with wide eyes and scary features—can disturb the energy balance of the home.

Another common example is the crow. This bird is often associated with the Pitru Lok (ancestral world). It’s not considered auspicious to keep pictures or statues of crows inside the house, especially in living rooms or bedrooms. The presence of such symbols can create blockages in your success and keep negativity around.

Also, be cautious about rats or lizards entering your home. While they may be part of nature, their continuous presence can be a sign of decaying energy or Vastu imbalance. These animals thrive in cluttered, dirty corners and hint toward neglected spaces in your home that need immediate attention.

 What You Should Do

The first step is awareness. Walk around your house and check if you have kept any animal figurines or wall art that resemble these creatures. If yes, consider removing them or shifting them outside. Avoid keeping decorative pieces that are dark, gloomy, or scary.

Vastu suggests replacing such items with symbols of prosperity and positivity, like elephants with trunks up, turtles facing inside the house, or images of peaceful animals like cows and swans. These are believed to invite harmony and abundance.

If the presence of such unlucky animals has already affected your space, you can cleanse your home by lighting camphor, performing daily incense rituals, and chanting mantras like the Mahalakshmi mantra or Gayatri mantra. Sound healing with bells or conch also helps remove stagnated negative energies.

Why It Matters Before Diwali

As the festive season approaches, especially during Diwali, the energy in your home plays a huge role in determining what kind of vibrations you attract. Removing unlucky elements and cleansing your house helps prepare the space to welcome wealth, peace, and the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.

Being conscious of what we keep around us isn’t just about decoration—it’s about intention. Vastu isn’t superstition; it's the science of harmony between you and your living space. The more aligned your environment is with positive energy, the better your life flows.

So if you've been feeling stuck or unlucky lately, maybe it’s time to do a quick check around your house and see if anything is silently stealing your fortune.
