18 Natural Home Remedies for Dark Eye Circles, Puffy Eyes - Part 2



Mint leaves

Mint leaves gives cooling effects to our tired and heavy eyes and reduces dark circles under eyes.


11. Mint with tomato

Take 30 fresh mint leaves and crush them to make smooth paste, then add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice or tomato juice/pulp in it, mix well and apply this paste on affected areas under eyes and face. Leave it for 30 minutes and rinse off with water. Repeat this once a day until you get desired result.


12. Raw milk with mint, lemon

Mix 2 tablespoon of fresh mint leaves paste with 1 tablespoon of raw milk and one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. Apply the mixture on affected areas; allow it to sit for a 30 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.


13. Turmeric with rose water, mint

Crush 20-30 fresh mint leaves in 1-2 teaspoon of rose water and pinch of turmeric and make smooth paste of it. Apply the paste around eyes and other affected areas for 20-30 minutes and the wash it away with lukewarm water. Follow this 3-4 times a week to remove dark circles in few weeks. 




14. Rose Water

Rose water has rich antioxidants and skin enhancing properties which give cooling effects to our skin and eyes; it lightens the dark circles under the eyes, revitalizes the skin, rejuvenates skin tissue and strengthens skin cells.

1.      Apply rose water on the dark skin, then dip 2 cotton balls in rose water and place them over the eyes for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with normal water. Repeat this twice a day.

2.      Mix 1 teaspoon of rose water with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice, mix them well and apply on the dark skin for 20-30 minutes. Do this 4-5 times a week for best result.


Curd, Basil, Papaya

15. Basil paste

Prepare paste of 10 fresh basil/tulsi leaves and apply on the dark circles and dark spots for 30 minutes. Wash with normal water. Do this daily. You can add some mint paste with basil paste.



16. Curd with Bengal gram flour

Add 2 tablespoon of curd in 1 tablespoon of Bengal gram flour, you can also add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice in it. Mix them properly and make smooth paste. Apply the paste on affected areas for 30 minutes and wash it off with normal or lukewarm water. Follow this remedy 3-4 times a week.



18. Papaya with lemon, honey

Prepare 2 tablespoon of papaya paste from ripe papaya, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or 1 tablespoon of raw honey in it, mix well and apply over the dark circles for 30 minutes. Repeat this once a day for better result.
