9. Plum (jamun)
Chew 3-4 leaves of blackberry (jamun) in
the morning and evening. Or smash 3-4 leaves of blackberry tree in half cup of
water, boil it for 3-4 minutes and drink it daily.
10. Yoghurts, beet,
radish
Add green leafy vegetables, yoghurts in
your daily diet. You can also make salad of cucumber, radish, tomatoes,
beetroot, onion, and shredded coconut and spread some coriander on it and add
some lemon juice to improve taste of the salad.
11. Parslane seed
Parslane (kulapha, luniya): The parslane
seed enhances our body’s own insulin. Consume 1 teaspoon of parslane seeds with
cup of water every day.
12. Cinnamon powder
Boil 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder in cup
of water for 5-6 minutes. Strain the water and drink this warm water once or
twice a day.
13. Curry leaves
Chew 8-12 fresh curry leaves every
morning. Or you can use dried curry leaves powder. Also add curry leaves in
your regular cooking, consumption of curry leaves is very helpful in diabetes.
14. Garlic
Add garlic in your daily diet as it
helps regulate our uneven sugar levels. You can eat 2 garlic cloves or swallow
mashed garlic cloves with warm water in the early morning on empty stomach.
This will also cure your stomach and gas problems.
15. Neem leaf
Chew 1 fresh neem leaf and 1bilva (bael)
leaf in the early morning on an empty stomach. Follow this remedy 5-6 times a
week for fast result.
16. Bay (tejpatta)
Grind handful of Bay (tejpatta) leaves and make a powder. Consume 1 teaspoon
of this bay powder with a glass of warm water every morning
to control your sugar level.
17. Guava
Guava contains vitamin C and has high
fiber that is why guava can regulate the blood sugar level efficiently. So
consume 2 guavas every day or prepare juice of it.
18. Tulsi leaves
Eat 8-10 tulsi leaves, 2-3 neem leaves
and 2-3 belpatras (quince leaf) with a glass of warm water in the early morning
on an empty stomach. Do this 4-5 times a week.
