4. Almonds
1. Soak 6-7 almonds in water for
overnight. Next morning, peel the almonds; make paste of these almonds by
crushing them or grinding them. Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey in this almond
paste and consume.
2. Soak 5-6 almonds, 2 dried dates, and
3-4 small cardamoms in water overnight. In the next morning crush or grind them
together and make paste of it, add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and 1
tablespoon of honey to it. Consume this mixture once or twice a day to get rid
of jaundice.
5. Turmeric
Mix a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder
to glass of warm water, mix well and drink this mixture once or twice a day.
6. Papaya Leaves
Take some fresh papaya leaves, wash them
properly and grind them with cup of water to make paste of it. Then add 1
tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and pinch of salt in it.
Consume ½ glass of the juice twice a day.
7. Ginger
Prepare 2 tablespoon of fresh ginger
juice, add 1 tablespoon of honey to it and consume in the morning before
breakfast, before lunch and dinner too. This will increase your appetite.
8. Indian Gooseberry
Prepare glass of fresh Indian gooseberry
juice (raw or boiled Indian gooseberry). Also add 1 tablespoon of honey and
pinch of salt in the juice and drink the juice daily in the morning and in the
evening. You can drink the juice 2-3 times a day.
9. Oregano
Mix 1 tablespoon of oregano in ½ glass
of water and boil it for 3-5 minutes on slow flame. Strain the water and
consume this cool water twice a day.
10. Buttermilk
Add 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin seeds
powder, pinch of turmeric powder and pinch of salt or black pepper powder to 2
tablespoon of buttermilk and consume once or twice a day this mixture is very
useful for proper digestion.
11. Lemon Juice
Mix 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
and 1 tablespoon of honey with glass of warm/normal water and consume this
mixture daily in the morning and in the evening to protect liver cells and fast
recovery in jaundice.
12. Barley Water
Soak 2 cups of barley 2-3 liters of
water for 2-3 hours. Then smash the barley in the water, strain the water and
drink this water throughout the day to get relief from jaundice. This remedy is
very famous.
14. Barley
Add 1 teaspoon of roasted barley powder
in a cup of water, also add 1 tablespoon of honey and pinch of rock/black salt
to it and consume this mixture twice a day.
15. Basil
1. Take 8-10 fresh basil/tulsi leaves
and make paste of it, add 1 tablespoon of honey in this paste. Consume this
mixture 2-3 times a day.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh basil
leaves paste to ½ glass of fresh radish juice. Drink this juice twice a day for
2 weeks.
Diet & Advice
1.
Avoid hot, spicy,
sour, oily, and fast foods; have a vegetarian diet.

Eat Brown rice,
chapattis, methi or spinach vegetables and oil less food
3.
Avoid chocolates,
cakes, pastries, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, aerated drinks, canned and
preserved foods.

Avoid polished
rice like white rice, refined flour, mustard seeds and oil, asafetida, peas

Increase
consumption of brown rice, whole wheat flour, and parboiled rice.
6.
Eat fruits like
bananas, mangoes, sugarcane, apple, pears, papaya, berries, dried dates,
grapes, cardamom, almonds and raisins.

Consume
vegetables such as tomatoes, spinach, potatoes, radishes, Indian gooseberries/amla, lemons etc

Take complete
rest and avoid exercise or excessive physical work.
