10. Honey with basil
Smash 10-15 fresh basil leaves and add 1
tablespoon of honey to it, mix well and consume this mixture on an empty
stomach in the morning and after lunch with cup of warm water. Follow this for
a week for better result.
11. Back peppers, Garlic, Ginger
Smash 3 back peppers, 2 garlic cloves
and add them in your regular or green tea, also add 1 tablespoon of fresh
ginger juice or 1 teaspoon of ginger paste in tea. Drink this warm tea. Do this
2-3 times a day.
12. Hot water bag
Place hot water bag on the painful area
for few minutes, this will steams the muscles and reduces the back pain. You
can also place ice pack directly on affected areas for fast relief from lower
and upper backache.
13. Cuscus
Consume 1 teaspoon of khas khas (cuscus
grass) and 1 tablespoon of honey on an empty stomach with glass of milk. Do
this twice a day.
14. Ginger
Ginger gives you many medicinal benefits
such as curing vomiting, nausea, headache, cough etc, can also be used in the
treatment of neck pain and back pain. Ginger anti-inflammatory properties which
give you relief from a neck and backache.
Prepare some fresh ginger paste and
directly apply on the painful area, followed by eucalyptus oil. Repeat this 2-3
times a day for fast pain relief.
15. Poppy Seeds
1.
Take 100 gm of poppy seeds (khus khus) and 50-80 gm of rock candy
(misri)

Grind both ingredients in mixer grinder completely.

Consume one tablespoon of this mixture 2 times a day, followed by a
glass of milk.
16. Epsom Salt
Mix some Epsom salt with hot water or
coconut oil and apply this hot mixture (tolerable) on affected area to reduce
pain instantly.
Alternatively, add 3 cups of Epsom salt
to your hot bathwater and soak your body in this water for half an hour to get
rid of body ache.
17. Ice Packs
Make a cold compresses with ice which is
very effective in reducing swelling and pain.

Take some crushed ice in a plastic bag and wrap it in cloth. Put this
cold compress on the painful area for few minutes.

Follow this repeatedly, waiting 20-30 minutes between each application.
18. Chamomile Tea
A cup of chamomile tea helps relax
stressed muscle tissues that can be the cause or a associated symptom of a
backache and neck pain.
Boil one tablespoon of chamomile flowers
in your regular or herbal tea and drink it hot. Repeat this 2-3 times a day.
19. Avoid this
Avoid sitting in couches, soft chairs,
sleeping on soft beds; always sit in firm chairs, sleep on mat or firm beds,
support the lumbar area with a pillow. This keeps your waist and lower back in
the right position and avoids further back pain.
20. Avoid smoking & tobacco
Use the right posture while sitting,
standing and sleeping. Avoid smoking, tobacco and consumption of alcohol.
These home remedies and tips will surely
reduce the severity and occurrence of back pain.
