7. Turmeric

Turmeric is well known for the following properties:

It contains curcumin, a polyphenol that is responsible for weight loss. This curcumin prevents growth of fat tissues thereby enhancing weight loss.


8. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera stimulates the rate of metabolism and this aid in maintain, stabilize and reduces the body mass index BMI. Aloe Vera detoxified our body and flush out dangerous waste and elements from our body.

Aloe Vera juice is known as a laxative, due to which food is forced out of the colon faster. Therefore, a lesser amount of energy is absorbed from the food. Aloe Vera is very beneficial & known as 'the dietary plant'. 

      1.      As aloe Vera juice has a bitter flavor, so while drinking mix with vegetable and fruit juice, which will make it edible.

2.      Drink 1 teaspoon aloe Vera juice with warm water once in 2-3 days for 2 weeks on an empty stomach. Aloe Vera juice can be mixed with various fruit juice. Don’t boil aloe Vera juice or pieces in hot water.

If you are taking some medicines then consult your doctor because aloe Vera can interact with medicines & shows side effects. Aloe Vera includes some high amounts of Protein, Collagen. The body spends more energy to digest the collagen Protein in the body & spending more energy helps in weight loss, simultaneously collagen protein also maintains muscle development.


Caution

1.      There aren’t too many identified side effects of aloe Vera juice, if the juice is taken properly. Side effects of intake of aloe Vera consists diarrhea, abdominal cramps, electrolyte imbalances and vitamin deficiencies. If you experience severe or constant side effects, stop using & consult your doctor.

2.      Menstruating women must consult the Doctor, before start consuming Aloe Vera drink for Weight Loss.


9. Olive Oil

Olive oils are rich in monounsaturated fats. These fats are essential for reducing LDL cholesterol levels and increasing the HDL cholesterol levels.

1.      Consuming one - two tablespoons of this oil is better than taking butter or other vegetable oils.
2.      Add 1-2 teaspoon of olive oil in glass of carrot juice or beetroot juice and drink it once or twice a day.
3.      Sprinkle 1-2 teaspoon olive oil on your regular fruit or vegetable salad.



10. Black pepper

Black pepper has been highly acknowledged for centuries for its spicy flavor and medicinal qualities. Black pepper contains substance, known as piperine, it has ability to block the growth of fat cells in the body. That is why black pepper is a very effective and natural spice for weight loss and there are no side effects. Piperine also helps to reduce the level of fat in the blood stream.

Black pepper contains a compound called capsaicin. Capsaicin helps the body burn calories by increasing heat. Such spicy spices can increase the metabolism by about 20-30%. The black pepper activates a metabolic reaction that breaks down fat cells in the body.

1.      Take 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 1 teaspoon honey and a pinch of black pepper with warm water. Drink on an empty stomach twice a day.

2.      Boil 8-10 fresh mint leaves in glass of water for 15 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of honey & a pinch of black pepper in this water. Drink this water 2-3 times a day.


3.      Drink ginger tea, mixed with 1 teaspoon honey, half teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder & 8-10 chopped Basil (tulsi) leaves. Boil cinnamon & chopped basil (tulsi) leaves together.

4.      Mix half teaspoon of black pepper powder with 2 tablespoon of honey and consume this mixture 1 hour before lunch and dinner.

5.      Sprinkle some black pepper powder on the vegetables and fruit salad; it will also improve the taste.



11. Flaxseeds

Flaxseed is rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids and it also makes you feel fuller. Flaxseed speeds up the metabolism and helps you to lose weight.

1.      Crush some flaxseeds finely and add them to your regular food like soups, cereals, chapatti, oats etc.

2.      Regularly take 1 tbsp of roasted flaxseeds on an empty stomach once or twice a day to lose weight.


12. Cucumber

Cucumber has high water content (90% of it is water) and is also rich in antioxidants - vitamins A, E & C. These remove toxic contents from one's body. Hence it is mandatory that one should consume 1 - 2 raw cucumbers (with their skin).
