13. Mood swings

Mood swings might be an uninvited guest during pregnancy. This happens due to hormonal changes that take place in your body. The variations in the hormone levels affect neurotransmitters of the brain, which cause enhanced emotions, from spells of weeping to sudden anger outbursts. In short, you could put hulk to shame and at the same time be very sensitive about how your eye liner missed the correct line of application by a few nanometres.

Your blood sugar levels may drop along with blood pressure due to which you might get headaches as your brain would struggle to keep up working with the less sugar content available than normal.

When you conceive, it is not only you alone who needs oxygen. Your body has to share blood and oxygen with the foetus inside. Due to this, you may experience breathing problems. Breathlessness and getting tired after doing normal physical movements like using stairs or a short walk are quite normal during pregnancy. However, it may indicate any other breathing problem such as allergic asthma.
