Honey for weight loss

Honey contains 80% natural sugar (fructose and glucose) vitamins B6, minerals pollen, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and zinc, protein & amino acids, thiamin, niacin, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese & so many properties. There is high level of fructose, that’s why honey is sweeter than the processed table sugar.

Honey is sweeter than processed table sugar, so use it less. Don’t boil honey or mix in hot water. Mix honey in warm or normal or cold water.

1. Honey with warm water or lemon

Drink 1 table spoon honey with small glass of warm water or lemon juice and add 1 or 2 tablespoon cinnamon powder on empty stomach. Result will be very remarkable in 15 days. Try it. You can also drink this mixture 2-3 times a day.


2. Honey with Cinnamon

Mix 1teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a cup of boiling water. When water gets warm or normal, add 1teaspoon honey. Drink this mixture in the morning on an empty stomach or half an hour before breakfast, lunch, dinner or any other heavy meal. 


3. Honey with ginger

Consume 1 teaspoon of honey with 1 teaspoon ginger paste or juice or chew small piece of it after dinner daily for better digestion.


4. Lemon, Honey and Black Pepper

Lemon and honey is very beneficial combinations used to healthy weight lose. Adding black pepper powder to it doesn’t just give it an improved taste but also increases your energy and makes body light.

Take a glass of lukewarm water. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Add 3-4 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and mix all the ingredients well and drink this mixture daily in the morning to achieve a noticeable weight lose.

How much honey should you consume every day?

Adults

Honey has the similar characteristics to that of sugar – such as the sweetness and chemical structure. Hence, the suggested serving quantity of honey is the same as that of normal sugar. One serving equals one tablespoon - it is not advised to take more than 10 tablespoon per day.

Children

For children between the age of one and three, we can give two to four small spoons of honey a day. For children between three and six years, we can give four to six small spoons per day.

Children over 6 years should consume up to 5 small teaspoons of honey per day and teenagers must consume up to 8-10 teaspoons of honey per day (approximately to 50-70g)
