add pollutants to our bodies. These cause various health hazards. Cooking meals
in an aluminium utensil can add about 1-2 mg of aluminium to your foods.
Aluminium utensils are used because they are cheap,
rust-free, light-weight and easily available. Yet, when these aluminium

abnormality and they develop chronic coughs.
Also, these people get kidney problems
and others. Since their bodies have excess accumulated aluminium they get bone

What
are the alternatives?
It would not be too difficult to replace your
aluminium utensils in the kitchen. This is because there several substitutes of
aluminium available in today’s market. These metallic substitutes include
anodized aluminium, ceramic or glass, copper, iron, and stainless steel
cookware.
Of these, copper and stainless steel might carry
similar risks of metal transfer into foods. The most recommended material is
anodized aluminium having the hard coating reducing dissolved aluminium in
foods.
