famous deodorant brands are advertised and promised you to whiten your
underarms. Getting rid of darker underarms is not an easy task as we think. But
here are the 12 simple ways to get rid of dark armpits and dark neck skin.
Orange Peel
Orange peels have skin lightening and
exfoliating properties which can be used to lighten your underarms area. Keep
some orange peels in the sun for 3-4 days to make them completely dry &
crispy. Grind these dried peels in mixer to form powder (or you can use
readymade orange peel powder).
1. Orange peels & rose water
Mix 2 teaspoons orange peels powder with
1 teaspoon of rose water and 1 teaspoon milk to make a smog & thick paste.
Gently scrub your dark underarms with this paste for 5 minutes and then leave
it on for more 20-30 minutes. Then rinse it off with normal water.
2. Orange peel with honey milk
Mix 1 teaspoons orange peels powder with
1 tablespoon of honey & enough milk to form smooth paste. Apply this
mixture on clean underarms for 20-30 minutes and wash it off with water. Follow
this remedy 3-4 times a week to lighten your dark underarms and skin round neck.
Potatoes
Potato has some mild acidic properties
and works as a natural bleaching agent. Raw potatoes are considered as amazing
natural bleaching agent and hence can lighten your underarm dark underarms skin
in few weeks.
3. Potato rubbing
Rub dark underarms gently with the thin
slices of raw potato for 5-10 minutes daily, and then leave it for more 20-30
minutes to lighten your underarms. Rinse off with water. Do this daily for fast
result.
4. Turmeric and potato
Grate 1 small potato and add pinch of
turmeric in it. Rub your dark underarms or affected areas with this mixture for
5-10 minutes. Follow this remedy every day.
5. Honey and potato
Get 2 tablespoon of potato juice and add
1 teaspoon of honey and pinch of turmeric to it. Apply this mixture on affected
areas like underarms, neck, and face for 20-30 minutes. Use this application
every day for brighter skin. Wash off with normal or warm water.
6. Tomato or lemon and potato
Mix 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice or
2 tablespoon of tomato juice or paste with 2 tablespoon of potato paste/juice.
Make smooth mixture and apply it on the affected res for 30 minutes. Wash with
cold water. Repeat this everyday to get rid of dark underarms.
7. Gram flour, milk, turmeric
Mix 2 tablespoon of gram flour with 4
tablespoon of raw milk or curd, also add 2 pinches of turmeric, mix all these ingredients
properly to make fine paste, add more milk or some rose water if needed to make
fine paste. Apply this paste on underarms, let it be dry, and then wash off
with warm water. Do this once or twice a day and at least 5 times a week for
lightening effects.
8. Sandalwood & rose water
Mix 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder or
paste with 1-2 tablespoon of rose water, apply this mixture on underarms, let
it dry and wash off with normal or warm water. Sandalwood gives lightening
effects, nourishment to the skin, removes bacteria, and eliminates body odor
and rose water gives cooling effects to your skin. Follow this remedy daily for
best lightening results.
9. Coconut oil
Coconut oil contains Vitamin E, which
can lighten our dark skin by removing dead cell from the skin; it also gives
necessary oil nourishment to our skin and eliminates skin dryness.
1. Before taking bath, massage your
underarms, elbow, neck or other affected areas with 1-2 tablespoon of warm
coconut oil for 10 minutes daily. Wash off with warm water, use mild soap. This
will lighten your dark underarms and increase the blood circulation.
10. Vinegar and rice flour
Vinegar has ability to lighten the dark
skin, it also kills germs and harmful bacteria that feed on dead skin cells
which causes underarm odor.
1. Mix 1 tablespoon rice flour with 1
tablespoon vinegar or apple cider vinegar to form a thick paste. Wash your
underarms, pat dry & immediately apply the mixture on it. Leave it for 20 minutes
and wash off with water. Follow this 3-4 times a week.
11. Olive Oil
Olive oil contains antioxidants and
other nourishing components which may lighten your dark skin area in few days.
Mix 2 tablespoon of olive oil with 3-4 tablespoon of brown sugar, mix it well
to make smooth paste. Apply the mixture on clean underarms for 20 minutes &
then rinse off with lukewarm water. Follow this remedy at least twice a week.
Try to do this before you take a bath.
12. Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil not only makes our dark
underarms light but also makes your skin soft and smooth. Apply 1 teaspoon of
Vitamin E oil over your underarms and gently rub your skin for 5 minutes. Wash
it off after 20-30 minutes.
