5. Hibiscus-Mehendi
Anti-Dandruff Hair mask
Take handful of
hibiscus leaves and wash them properly and grind with 5-6 mehendi leaves adding
some water to make smooth paste. Then add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon or orange
juice and apply it on your hair for 50-60 minutes to get rid of dandruff and it
will condition your hair at the same time. Repeat this 2-3 times a week for
best result.
6. Hibiscus
Shampoo
Boil 12-15 hibiscus
leaves and 5-7 hibiscus flowers in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes. When it
cools down, blend them into a smooth paste using same water. Then mix 2-3
tablespoon of gram flour and your hibiscus shampoo is ready to use. Use this
homemade shampoo 2-3 times a week for strong and healthy hair.
7. Hibiscus-Indian
gooseberry Hair Mask
Mix 2-3 tablespoons
of amla powder or amla paste with 3-4 tablespoons of hibiscus leaves paste. Mix
all the ingredients thoroughly to make a smooth paste. You can also add amla
juice instead of amla paste. Apply the mask on your scalp and hair for 50-60
minutes, and then wash off with lukewarm water. This amla- hibiscus hair mask will
promote strong and healthy hair within few weeks. Follow this remedy 2-3 times
a week.
8. Reetha
(Soapnut)-Hibiscus Shampoo
Boil 6-7 hibiscus flowers and 4-5 Hibiscus leaves in 4 cups of water.
Take 7-8 soap nuts and break them, get the seeds out and put the outer skin in
that boiling water. Boil this water until it reaches 1 and half cup. Then remove
it from heat and allow it to cool down. Once mixture cools. Crush all the ingredients
with fingers or blender. Apply this paste to your scalp and hair adding some
coconut or almond oil or coconut milk. You can preserve remaining paste in
refrigerator and use it when needed.
