6. Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seed contains dietary fiber and it is rich source of potassium, this medicinal property of fenugreek seed makes it an outstanding natural remedy for high blood pressure. Follow these remedies; you will notice an amazing improvement in your blood pressure level.

      1.      Boil 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seed powder with 2 cup of water for 3-4 minutes, consume this warm mixture 2-3 times a day.

      2.      Mix 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seed powder with 1 tablespoon of honey and consume his mixture with ½ glass of warm water in the morning on an empty stomach.

3.      Soak 2 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in the cup of water overnight. In the next morning, add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to this water, Drink the water and chew the fenugreek seeds on an empty stomach.


7. Cinnamon

Regular consumption of cinnamon significantly and quickly reduces hypertension/high blood pressure.

1.      Boil 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in glass of water for 3-4 minutes, then add 1 tablespoon of honey to it. Drink this mixture once a day in the morning to reduce HBP/hypertension.

2.      Add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder in regular tea with 1 tablespoon of honey. Drink this tea twice a day.



8. Watermelon Seeds

Watermelon seed contains cucurbocitrin, which expands the blood vessels and maintains proper blood circulation in the blood vessels, thus it reduces the high blood pressure significantly. It also improves functioning of the kidney and gives relief in arthritis.

1.      Take 2 tablespoon of dried watermelon seeds, crush them and roast them in 1 tablespoon of clarified butter for 2-3 minutes. Consume this mixture on an empty stomach twice a day, in the morning and in the evening.

2.      Crush 2 tablespoon of dried watermelon seeds and add 1 teaspoon of cuscus/ khus khus to it, also add 1 tablespoon of honey to it. Consume this mixture in the morning and in the evening on an empty stomach.

3.      Crush 3 tablespoon of dried watermelon seeds and boil in ½ glass of water for 4-5 minutes. Strain the water and add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice in it. Dink 4 tablespoon of this water throughout the day with regular intervals.




9. Celery

Vegetables like celery and broccoli are very beneficial in curing high blood pressure/hypertension. Celery contains high level of the phytochemical 3-N-butylphthalide, which reduces high blood pressure rapidly. It also contains phthalides, which helps relax the muscles in and around arterial walls, thus it creates more space and allows the blood circulation without any trouble. Celery helps to manage stress hormone that has contracting effects on blood vessels.

1.      Drink ½ glass of celery juice twice a day to reduce high blood pressure.
2.      Boil some celery in 2 glass of water and drink 2 cups of water 2-3 times a day.
3.      Add celery, spinach, and broccoli in your regular food to maintain proper blood pressure.




10. Cayenne Pepper

It is essential that patients with high blood pressure should consume salt free, fat free and oil free diet. Patient should completely avoid uncooked or table salt. Instead of salt use cayenne pepper in your food. Cayenne pepper prevents buildup of platelets in the blood and helps smooth circulation of blood in the vessels.

1.      Sprinkle some cayenne pepper on your fruit or vegetable salad. Add cayenne pepper in regular food like curry, soups, vegetables, sandwiches, vegetable and fruit juices etc.


11. Banana

Banana is rich source of potassium and Vitamin B, which controls and normalizes blood pressure levels in the body. On the other hand bananas are low in sodium and zero cholesterol, which is very beneficial for the people having high blood pressure. A fruit rich in potassium and Vitamin B such as banana, sweet potatoes, oranges, grapes, currants, apricots, raisins etc improves blood circulation in the vessels without any difficulty.

1.      Eat 1-2 ripe banana after all heavy meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner; it is also very useful for fast digestion.

2.      Add banana, oranges, grapes, and apricots, raisins in your fruit salad or juices. Consume them every day. 



12. Basil/tulsi

      1.      Take 10-15 fresh basil/tulsi leaves, crush them to make paste and add 1 tablespoon of honey to this paste. Consume the mixture in the morning and in the evening on an empty stomach to reduce hypertension/HBP.

      2.      Add 1 tablespoon of fresh basil/tulsi paste in glass of orange juice or carrot juice, it will reduce high blood pressure.


13. Cumin seed

       1.      Mix 1 tablespoon of cumin seed powder in glass of water, also add 1 tablespoon of honey in it, Consume the mixture twice a day.

2.      Mix 1 tablespoon of cumin seed powder, 1 tablespoon of ginger juice or paste in your regular tea, add honey instead of sugar. Rink this warm tea 2-3 times a day for fast relief from high blood pressure/hypertension.



14. Indian Gooseberry

1.      Prepare glass of Indian Gooseberry (raw or boiled) juice, add 1 tablespoon of honey to it and drink twice a day, in the morning and in the evening to reduce high blood pressure.

2.      You can also try beet root juice, simply add 1 tablespoon of honey in the juice and consume twice a day. Also add beet root and Indian gooseberries in fruit salad and other food.


15. Dry fruits

Soak 3 almonds in the water overnight and consume with milk in the morning. You can also soak 6-7 raisins in the water, consume with milk to manage blood pressure.
