Smiling is a facial
expression known for lifting your neck muscles and in toning your facial
muscles. Here we discussing 4
face-loving exercises which help you to prevent ageing.
1.
Fish Face
The
fish face can tighten your cheek muscles, gives firmness and tone them and
avoids sagging. Simply smile as you purse your lips and then create a fish face
by sucking the inside cheeks.
2. Cheek Puff
Like the name, this
exercise is pretty easy to do. Just close your mouth and blow air in your
cheeks to puff. Slowly change the puff from one side to another so that the air
moves. Try holding your breath for as long as possible, and exhale gently.
Repeat ten times daily for desired results.
3. Forehead Smoother
This exercise you can do it even in your workplace. Place
your index fingers above each eyelid and below your eyebrows. Lift your brows
as high as possible and with your index finger pull the skin downwards. Repeat twelve times every day to
prevent fine lines from forming on your forehead.
4. Neck and Chin lift
The neck muscle called the platysma tends to sag due to ageing. For this exercise, stand still, look up
the ceiling and press your tongue to your palate. Feel the muscle strain in the
neck and chin muscles. Press your palate with your tongue and bring your chin
down to your neck. Doing this your chin muscles contracts along with the
platysma, giving you a tighter neckline.
5. Eye Squint
Place your index and middle fingers on either side of your
eyebrows and a make a V shape. Tightly squint for 10 seconds and gently release
your fingers. Repeat for a maximum of six to seven times a day to get rid of
any puffiness under your eyes.
