3.  Keep one teaspoon of sugar in mouth and hold it there for at least 30 seconds. Allow the sugar to dissolve completely instead of chewing it. Drink some water over this.

4.  Mix one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice with some honey and swallow it immediately. It will bring hiccups under control.

5.  Place a paper bag tightly around your mouth. Slowly inhale or breathe in and exhale or breathe out of the paper bag. In case you feel lightheaded, discontinue this process of stopping hiccups. People suffering from heart ailments and problems should not try this method.
