How much Sleep we Need at each Age? Recommended Sleeping Hours for every Age
Over years people have wondered and discussed on

much sleep do I really need?"

Sleep Foundation, Non-profit

fits number of hours of sleep for all.
The National Sleep Foundation has
recently published in their ‘Sleep Health Journal’.
According to publication, hours of sleep needed by
the person depends on his/her age group. The recommended hours of sleep for every age group have been listed below:

(0-3 months): 14-17 hours each day
Infants (4-11 months): 12-15
hours each day
Toddlers
(1-2 years): 11-14 hours each day
Pre-schoolers (3-5 years): 10-13
hours each day
School age
children (6-13 years): 9-11 hours each day
Teenagers (14-17 years): 8-10
hours each day
Younger
adults (18-25 years): 7-9 hours each day
Adults (26-64 years): 7-9
hours each day
Older
adults (65+ years): 7-8 hours each day

aside for adults who like to sleep for 7-9 hours. Most adults belonging to this age group like to regularly
maintain and enjoy sleeping 7 hours.
According to the above sleep report,
two categories for younger adults and older have been included. Some younger
adults might require slightly more sleep than the hours recommended.
Often, people miss out on their
