Hair-Growth Drugs may Cause Erectile dysfunction that lasts for years

Men taking drugs for treating hair
loss and/or enlarged prostrate might experience getting erectile dysfunction.
This problem can even persist long after you quit taking the medication that
caused it. Research studies have warned that this condition is true in many
cases.
Men exposed to finasteride and
dutasteride drugs for long times show higher risk of persistent erectile
dysfunction (PED). According to North-western University, the USA, men less
exposed to the mentioned drugs are less affected. Even after stopping taking
the mentioned drugs, some men got persistent erectile dysfunction for months or
years.

to drugs had higher risks of PED. It rate of getting PED was not very high when
caused by diabetes, hypertension and/or

the studies, it was observed that men had PED stopping drugs and taking
sildenafil (Viagra) or similar drug.
