What is Ganglion Cyst?
Ganglion cyst is a smooth, small round
shaped bag filled with a thick, sticky liquid that forms under the skin. It can

1. Black tea bags
Black tea has acidic property that
reduces pain and swelling and prevents cyst from getting worse.
1. Put a black tea bag in tolerable hot
water for 5-8 minutes.
2. Take it out from water and squeeze
out the surplus water.
3. Put the warm, wet tea bag over the
affected region cyst until it is warm.
4. Soak it again into warm water and put
it on cyst.

every day.
2. Warm compresses
Apply warm compresses regularly to
reduce pain, swelling and other discomforts caused by ganglion cyst.
Application of warm compress increases blood circulation in the affected area,
reduces pain, promotes fluid drainage and also reduces swelling. But, warm
compress will not prevent the growth of a ganglion cyst.
1. Soak a clean washcloth into warm
water (squeeze out the excess water).

Mix 1 tablespoon of Liquorice powder
with small glass of warm water and drink it. Do this once a day to heal ganglion cyst.
4. Turmeric
Turmeric has anti-inflammatory property
that helps reduce pain due to a ganglion cyst.
1. Apply some warm turmeric paste
directly on the cyst. Do this 2-3 times a day for several days.

milk once or twice a day or add turmeric in your daily diet.
5. Ginger
Ginger has great anti-inflammatory
property which reduces pain, swelling and uneasiness.
1. Boil 1 tablespoon of ginger paste in
glass of water on low flame until it reduced by half.
2. Strain the water and drink it warm by
adding 1 teaspoon of honey to it.
