8. Pimples and blackheads

Pimples and blackheads always spoil our facial appearance. Make your own easy homemade facial mask to remove acne, pimples, blackheads & whiteheads. Mix 1 teaspoon of fresh lime juice with 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of rose water. Apply this mixture overnight or for 30 minutes, massage gently with 1 teaspoon of sugar on your blackheads, whiteheads area before washing it off. Wash with lukewarm water. 


9. Fruits and vegetables

Fruits and vegetables like apples, oranges, watermelon, grapes, cabbage, and broccoli contains huge amount of calcium D glucarate, which accelerate the elimination of disease promoting composites, such as estrogen and it also reduces the lipid (fat) levels in our blood. So for evergreen soft healthy skin, add fruits and vegetables in your daily diet.



10. Egg white, mint leaves & rose water

Crush 20-25 fresh mint leaves and make fine paste of it. Mix this mint leaves paste with egg white and 1 tablespoon of rose water. Apply this paste for 20-30 minutes and wash with lukewarm or normal water and apply 1 teaspoon of raw honey as a moisturizer. 


11. Banana, milk & honey

First of all, clean your face with lemon cleanser (mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with 1 teaspoon of milk) apply this cleanser for 10 minutes using cotton ball. Wash your face with cold water and apply banana mask (Crush ½ ripe banana and add 2 tablespoon of raw milk, 1 tablespoon of honey in it. Add more milk if required to make fine paste) for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm/normal water.




12. Oatmeal, banana, lemon juice

Mix 1 tablespoon of oatmeal with 2 tablespoon of ripe banana paste, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Mix these ingredients properly to make fine paste (use milk if required). Apply this paste for 20 minutes and wash with normal water.



13. Carrots, egg & honey

Grate ½ carrot and squeeze juice from it. Mix 2 tablespoon of carrot juice with egg white and 1 teaspoon of raw honey, mix them well to make fine paste. Apply this paste on the face for 30 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.



14. Multani mitti, carrot juice 

Take 2 tablespoon of multani mitti, add 2 tablespoon of fresh carrot juice or pulp, also add 1 ½ tablespoon of lime or orange juice. Mix them to make a fine paste. Apply on your clean face for 20-30 minutes and wash off with normal water. 



15. Papaya & egg white 

Crush few slices of fully ripe papaya and make 3 tablespoon fine juice/pulp of it. Mix this pulp with egg white and 1 tablespoon of honey. Make smooth paste and apply on your face for 30 minutes (you can add yogurt instead of egg white) wash with lukewarm water.



16. Gram/lentil flour, tomato & almonds 

Mix 2 tablespoon of gram/lentil flour with 3 tablespoon of tomato juice or pulp, also add 1 tablespoon of almond paste or almond oil or coconut milk. Make smooth fine paste and apply for 20 minutes on the clean face. Wash off with normal water.

23. Cinnamon before sleeping

Else Consumption of one tablespoon of raw honey with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder before sleeping removes phlegm from the throat.


24. Onions

Raw Onions have anti-inflammatory properties of onion helps to reduce the constriction and congestion of the airways in asthma.  Onion contains sulfur which decreases the inflammation in the lungs. 

1.      Mix 2 tablespoon fresh juice of raw onion with 1 tablespoon of raw honey, consume this mixture once or twice a day. It will decongest the breathing system and support easy breathing.


26. Basil with black pepper, ginger

Crush 15-20 basil/tulsi leaves and boil it in 2 cups of water for 7-8 minutes with ½ tablespoon of black pepper powder. After boiling add 2 tablespoon of fresh ginger juice and 1 ½ tablespoon of raw honey. Don’t add sugar. Consume this hot mixture sip by sip. Do this daily and see the result.



27. Mustard seeds

Boil 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds in 1 ½ cup of water or milk with 1 teaspoon of turmeric and 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder. Boil for 7-8 minutes and consume as tea.


28. Eucalyptus oil steam

Take steam with 8-10 drops of eucalyptus oil for 10-15 minutes to decongest your respiratory system and easy breathing. 



30. Eucalyptus oil on handkerchief

Sprinkle 5-6 drops of pure Eucalyptus oil on your handkerchief and inhale the smell when you feel discomfort due to asthma. When you go to sleep keep this handkerchief near you. Just by inhaling the Eucalyptus oil in will help reduce discomfort due to asthma as well as cold and respiratory complaints.


31. Drumstick soup

Consume soup made from drumstick leaves. Use handful of drunstick leaves in tomato or chicken soup. Also add half teaspoon of black pepper powder and tablespoon of ginger paste in soup. Consume this hot (tolerable) and spicy soup twice a day.


33. Garlic cloves

Boil 2-3 crushed garlic cloves in your tea (without milk), black tea, herbal/green tea, also add 2 tablespoon of ginger juice.


34. Sesame oil with salt

Massage your chest with 2-3 tablespoon of warm sesame oil mixed with black/normal salt for 10-15 minutes twice in a day. Salt helps to release the phlegm accumulated in the chest, particularly, when followed with steaming.


35. Fish

Add fish in your regular diet contains Omega 3 fatty acids which are found in fatty fish like salmon, tuna, traut, anchovies, pollock and mackerel.


36. Morning milk with turmeric

Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric in glass of warm milk and drink in the morning and before you go to bed.



37. Juniper herbal oil

Add 5-7 drops of juniper herbal oil and inhale the steam for 5-10 minutes. Do this twice a day to get relief in asthma.


38. Carom seeds

10. Olive anti-aging mask

One of the greatest benefits of pure olive oil is that it is easily absorbed by your skin. It is a rich source of vitamin E and antioxidants; it prevents the age spots, appearance of wrinkles, and other signs of aging by repairing the damage caused by oxidative stress and free radicals.

Take 2 tablespoon of oatmeal, 1 teaspoon of buttermilk, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of almond paste. Make affine paste & apply on your face & neck for 20 minutes, wash with lukewarm water. If your skin is too oily then use 1 teaspoon of lemon juice in it or you can avoid buttermilk in it. Apply honey as a moisturizer for 10 minutes.


11. Honey and rose water

Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 1 tablespoon of rose water, apply daily for 20 minutes, and wash with lukewarm water. If your skin is oily, then add 1 tablespoon of tomato juice/pulp or fresh lime juice in it. This mask reduces wrinkles and brings glow on your face.


12. Olive oil moisturizer

1.      Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil in 1 tablespoon of almond paste. Massage your face in circular & upward movement for 10-15 minutes; wash it off with normal/lukewarm water. Do this 4 times in a week for better result.

2.      Mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and apply it on your face and neck for 15 to 25 minutes and rinse with normal or lukewarm water. Olive oil moisturizes our skin and lemon juice reduces dark spots & brightens skin.



13. Egg, honey and olive oil

Mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil with one egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of turmeric and 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice. Make a fine mixture/paste of it. Gently massage your face with less than half of this mixture for 10 minutes & apply remaining mixture as a face mask after massage. Leave it for 20 minutes; wash off with lukewarm/normal water. Don’t forget to moisturize your skin. 




14. Aloe Vera

     2.      Rubbing fresh aloe Vera peels over the face regularly reduces the black spots, acne and pimples in few days. Additionally, aloe Vera tightens our facial skin.




15. Avocado for dull, loose skin

Avocado has lot of essential natural oils which nourishes our skin in our ages when our skin becomes dull, dry and loose. It also prevents wrinkle.

1.      Grind some avocado pieces in grinder to make 2 tablespoon paste of it, then add 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lime or orange or tomato juice/pulp in it. Make a fine paste and apply on your face & neck for 20-30 minutes. Wash with normal/lukewarm water. Do this 3-4 times in a week. 

2.      Massage your skin regularly with fresh avocado slices or pulp for 10-15 minutes in circular & upward movements.



Last but not least

1. Water

Drink at least 10 glass of water every day. Drink 2 glass of fresh fruits juice daily; add 1 tablespoon of raw honey, 2 tablespoon of fresh lime juice and few mint leaves in your juices. 

2. Diet

Add fresh fruits and vegetables especially leafy vegetables in your regular diet. Add tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, mint leaves and raw cabbage in your salad. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of honey on your salad. 


3. Stress

Avoid fast food, oily & junk food, also avoid smoking and alcohol. Don’t take stress, avoid depression and control your anger. Do some meditations like yoga practices to reduce your stress & depression.

4. Exercise & meditation

Give 30-45 minutes daily for exercise, yoga, brisk walking, aerobics or stretching practices. Take proper and enough sleep daily.

16. Zinc

Did you know that lack of zinc is the underlying cause of psoriasis? You should eat food rich in zinc and take zinc supplements every day to supplement your diet.

Food rich in zinc - spinach, kidney beans, beef, flax seeds, oysters, pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds, lima beans, garlic, peanuts. 

Egg yolks, salmon, turkey, lobster, pork, chickpeas, dark chocolate, beef liver, brown rice, sesame seeds, peas, lamb, cashews, mushrooms, crab etc.


17. Coconut Oil

In order to prevent skin from getting too dry and to reduce the aggravation of lesion, lukewarm coconut oil can be applied to the affected areas for ½ hour. This should be done before taking a shower.


18. Aloe Vera

1.      Aloe vera gel, the translucent gel extracted from the aloe vera leaf, can be applied on the affected areas of the skin until it is completely absorbed. This procedure should be repeated 3 times every day for many weeks.




2.      A combination of aloe vera gel and garlic oil can also prove effective in healing the lesions of psoriasis.


19. Fish Oil

Fish oil contains omega-3-fatty acids that have a beneficial effect on scaling and patchiness of skin. 

1. Creams that contain fish oil can be applied to the affected area to alleviate the irritation. 

2. You can also consume fish oil supplements on a regular basis for relief.



20. Jasmine (Jasminum polyanthum)

Jasmine flowers are effective in treating the lesions of psoriasis. Make a paste of the flowers by crushing them and apply the paste directly on the inflamed areas of the skin. This will help decrease the pain and itching.



21. Vegetable Oil

Massaging the lesions of psoriasis with vegetable oil will help keep them hydrated as well as provide nutrients to the skin. Let the oil stay on your skin for 30 minutes.



22. Licorice

       1.      Licorice gels or creams may be applied to the affected areas of the skin twice every day for many weeks.

       2.      Take 6 cups of water and add 2 teaspoons of dried licorice root. Boil the powder for a while and then allow it to simmer for 40 minutes. 

Let the mixture cool, and then strain the solution. Soak a clean washcloth in it and apply it to the affected areas of the skin as a compress every day.

       3.      You can also make a mixture of licorice root and olive oil in a jar with a tight lid and keep it aside for 4-6 weeks. 

 4.   Alternatively, you can heat the mixture on low flame for many hours. Now, strain this oil and apply it to the affected area. 

Allow the oil to be completely absorbed by the body. Repeat the remedy 2-3 times every day until satisfactory results are seen.



23. Black Nightshade (Solanum nigrum)

The extract of black nightshade leaves, when applied topically on the affected areas of the skin, help decrease inflammation and relieves pain and itching.

6. Aloe Vera

The anti-inflammatory and healing property of aloe vera reduces pain, swelling and stimulates healing of ganglion cyst.

Apply some fresh/homemade aloe vera gel on the affected area for 40-60 minutes, and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Follow this remedy on regular basis 2-3 times a day.


7. Epsom salt

Epsom salt has healing and anti-inflammatory property that relieves pain, inflammation and helps reduce and heal the ganglion cyst within a few weeks.

1. Mix 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt, 1 teaspoon of glycerin and 2 pinches of borax powder in 4-5 tablespoon of water. Mix the ingredients completely and apply it on cyst using cotton swab and cover it with bandage. Follow this remedy twice a day for several days.

2. Alternatively, add 1-2 tablespoon of Epsom salt to 1-2 cups of warm water. Soak the affected area in it for 15-20 minutes.  Repeat once or twice a day for several days.



8. Echinacea

Echinacea helps shrink the ganglion cyst as it enhances the level of the chemical called ‘Properdine’ in the body, which stimulates our immune system and minimizes the ganglion cyst.


1. You can get readymade echinacea ointment and directly apply it over the cyst. Do this 3-4 times a day until you get result.

2. You can also drink a warm cup of echinacea herbal tea twice daily, but only for 7 days, do not have it on regular basis.

Note: People suffering from autoimmune disorder must not take echinacea internally.


9. Frankincense oil     

Frankincense oil not only reduces the pain but also reduces the size of ganglion cyst. Additionally, it prevents cyst from recurring.

1. Apply 2-3 warm drops of frankincense oil on the cyst and cover it with betel leaf or soft bandage.

2.  Repeat this once or twice daily, using a new betel leaf or clean bandage, until the size of cyst has reduced. After that you can continue applying it for 12-15 days to reduce recurring.
