What's the best time to exercise? Working out before bed, is it okay?

                                          GOOGLE AD

We all at some point of time in our life feel the need to work out, whether it be for getting stronger, more muscle mass, getting in shape or just losing fat. So we tend to chose different plans for different benefits. We are at peak energy during the afternoon; therefore afternoon can be a great time to put in the heavy and sweaty work outs!! Morning times are usually preferred as we all are relatively fresh at that time. Working out before bed time is also possible, but it does not afford any additional advantage.

Working Out Before Bed, Is It Okay?

Many researches have shown that work out before bed time can actually give you a better quality of sleep throughout the night!! Plus a little physical stress can get your muscles toned which would get rest they deserve in time. So it might be good for your muscle recovery.

Results quality sleep?

Research indicates that working out before bed may result in a better quality sleep for a person. The findings from the survey point out that those who performed vigorous work out before bed had much better sleep on all days of the week. Also another good thing that was observed that this group also reported much less day time drowsiness than other groups of respondents. The report found that doing exercise before going to bed is beneficial but it should not be done at the cost of reducing sleep time. Of course we need to sleep well!!

How is this possible?

Now you must be wondering what else other than fatigue would trigger a good sleep? This happens because exercise triggers our body’s cooling mechanism which is also linked with sleep. We sleep well when our body temperature is relatively low. To summarise, exercise makes us serene and calm which in turn helps us in sleeping.

When Is the Best Time for Working Out?

The best excuse humans could come up for not working out was "I don’t have time for it!!" Guys, you have time, just have a will to do it!! Those who exercise usually prefer to do it in morning hours. But it is late afternoon to early evening hours that are best ones to exercise, as our body muscles, lungs and all other organs are working at their best at this point of time. Hereby delivering maximum performance and best results.

Tips for Better Workout

1. Don‘t be hesitant to workout at any point of time of the day. Working out at any point in a day is much better than not exercising at all. So this deletes the excuse of being unable to reschedule. This is why you should not feel anxious in rescheduling a work out to late evening when you are busy completing all the work or attending meeting.

2. Cool down of our body is as important as working out. So we have to give enough time to let the muscles cool down and for this purpose you should finish working out 3 hours before sleeping.

3. A workout can make your body temperature rise significantly (it makes you Hot!!)

You need to cool down then!! Having a quick bath for around 3-4 minutes after working out can reduce your body temperature significantly.

4. It is recommended that you cool down slowly after a workout. This ensures that your muscles are toned properly and reduce chances of muscle injury.

As we know that our body doesn’t take abrupt temperature changes in a good way, avoid a shower immediately after exercise or even jumping in front of ac for that matter.

5. As we are through with the discussion that we can work out before sleeping, but it is preferred not to use bedroom for work outs.

6. If you work out before bed time, it is necessary that you lower your adrenaline level in your body. This would help you in sleeping properly. For the purpose, meditation or taking long breaths can help you in getting a better sleep.

Is Charcoal Toothpaste Safe to Use? Activated Charcoal: Secret or Scam?

                                          GOOGLE AD

If you are an active netizen you all must have seen various products which contain charcoal. Many face masks, face washes and toothpastes are incorporated with activated charcoal.

Charcoal might not look like something you can use on your face or put inside your mouth, majorly due to its colour and also it does not have a specific taste.

But many of you might know activated charcoal is the buzzy health ingredient of the moment, showing up in everything from supplements to pressed juices to beauty products. And now, it has also made its way to the oral care aisle, which claims to clean and whiten teeth and eliminate bad breath.

Soak up

You may not know this but activated charcoal has been used on the body for thousands of years. You all must have studied in your science class, in school, that charcoal is a good adsorbent. Because it's so porous, activated charcoal is sometimes used in emergency rooms to treat certain kinds of poisoning and overdose—by "soaking up" the poison, charcoal prevents it from being absorbed into the stomach. By this logic, some people believe activated charcoal can also be used to soak up toxins in the body or in this case, stains on the teeth.

Questions?

As the whole world raves about it, you might wanna use it for yourself too. But is it a good idea to use toothpastes that contain activated charcoal? And will the ingredient really whiten and "detox" teeth? Is it really safe and effective? Or are there any side effects to it? And finally, is it even necessary?

Answer:

Activated charcoal is a rebirth of ancient medicine techniques. In ancient times, people used to use ash to clean teeth. In theory, the black sludge binds to everything in its path-stains, tartar, bacteria and viruses (and maybe even your tonsils). As it takes tartar off the teeth, your teeth will get whiter, which is a positive sign, of course, but it may also bind to medications that the body needs to absorb and even bacteria that you need for digestion. And additionally, it just might not work.

What’s a big risk?

A big risk is that non-activated charcoal is extremely dangerous and there isn't proof that all manufacturers are using the correct type of charcoal. The safest way to whiten your teeth is by using a well-tested product. You don’t want to lose the enamel of your teeth and make them weak and sensitive.

What to know before you try charcoal toothpaste?

                                          GOOGLE AD
If you do decide to use activated charcoal toothpaste, dentists agree that you should do so cautiously and sparingly. Avoid brushing your teeth with charcoal toothpaste daily. Even if it feels totally normal this shouldn't be practiced for longer periods of time. Brush with it no more than once every other week.

It's an abrasive ingredient and frequent use could damage the enamel on your teeth. That's why certain people should avoid activated charcoal toothpaste altogether.

If you have a lot of recession of gum tissue, the roots of the teeth may become sensitive as a result of roughness of the charcoal toothpastes.

Remember

If you experience symptoms like raw or bleeding gums and an increase in sensitivity, stop using charcoal toothpaste right away and make an appointment with your dentist. This may be caused due to wear and tear of enamel of your teeth

When you lose enamel, teeth get sensitive and darker in colour because you’re close to the part of the tooth that has the depth of the colour. So instead of whitening the toothpaste can be a reason of darkening of teeth and causing permanent damage to dental cavity. Since you can’t grow it back, the only thing you can do is, cover it up with restoration.

So don’t let craze for whiteness take a toll on your already beautiful and healthy smile.

This tea heals cough, flu, headaches, depression, eczema, ear infection,

                                          GOOGLE AD

It has been over centuries that Oregano tea has been used all over the world. Did this thing ever come across your mind that why and what made this tea so popular?? Not just because it has a bunch or herbs in it or an ancient recipe ( well it actually has herbs!!) but because it has abundance of healing agents and immunity boosting agents that give your body a head start in being strong and also treat unwanted disorders.

Why Oregano is the best?

Oregano contains many essential compounds including quercetin, eriocitrin, luteolin-7-O-glucoside, apigenin-7-O-glucoside, luteolin, apigenin, and rosmaric acid (in short, all those good things your body need). These all are very powerful antioxidants, which means they will make you look younger (actually they reduce aging pace). These antioxidants reduce and heal the damages done to your body due to oxidation (oxygen turned bad!! Whoa!!).

Reduces LDL (bad) cholesterol

In a study published in the International Food Journal of Sciences and Nutrition in 2007, a corollary came out as drinking oregano tea does have antioxidant results as well as resulting in lowered LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. (You have got to love that now!!)

Coming on to treatment part of this herb, it is able to treat bronchitis, asthma, heartburn, cramps, bloating, headaches, muscle pain, fatigue toothaches, and gum disease successfully.

It has anti-inflammatory benefits which are also instrumental in treating osteoporosis and arteriosclerosis.

Anti-cancer properties

Now this one catches our eye here. Studies have shown that there are several compounds in oregano that can help fight cancer. It contains quercetin, which is known to slow down cancer growth and also promotes apoptosis (now that would be good news, won’t it be??).

A 2008 study published in the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology found that oregano extract improved the condition of animals suffering from colon cancer in laboratory, an effect the authors attributed to oregano’s antioxidant properties.
